Angelina Ballerina is a little mouse who dreams of being a ballerina. She was created by author Katharine Holabird and brought to life by illustrator Helen Craig. Angelina features in a popular series of children's books. The first book in the series was published in 1982, and there have since been over twenty books in the series.
Angelina has many friends, William Longtail, who is very fond of Angelina, and Alice Nimbletoes, who is Angelina's best friend, and is very good at gymnastics. They attend Miss Lily's School of dance, where they learn how to dance,leap and twirl around
